The Rector’s House -
Authentic Stone Villa

A Place Shaped by – History
and Every Stone Tells a Story

Perched on the slopes of Vrmac Hill in the ancient village of Gornji Stoliv, overlooking the breathtaking Kotor Bay, our restored three-storey stone house is a place where history, nature, and simplicity meet in quiet harmony. Lovingly renovated with respect for local tradition, this authentic Montenegrin home invites you to slow down, reconnect, and experience the spirit of the bay as it once was.

Surrounded by Mediterranean flora and mountain scents, the house features an uncommon open-plan ground floor with a shared bathroom that opens directly onto a sun-drenched stone terrace. Just steps away, a private hot tub offers the perfect spot to unwind with panoramic views of sea and sky.

Accommodating up to four guests across two upper floors with double beds, the house is ideal for couples or small families. Each floor is carefully styled, blending original materials with modern touches. The first floor offers a classic bedroom with stunning bay views, while the cozy attic features a rustic kitchenette and dining area — a perfect corner for relaxed meals and evening chats.

In addition to the main house, guests enjoy exclusive access to a traditional tavern (konoba) — a shaded dining space centered around a stone hearth (sač) for preparing local specialties. This is the heart of the home, where stories unfold over food, wine, and long summer nights.

With fast Wi-Fi, cable TV, and the peaceful rhythm of Gornji Stoliv all around, this retreat is perfect for those who seek silence, soul, and something truly special.
